Just General Updates

Okay, so I was going to post that picture. I completely forgot and don't have access to the photo right now. But soon, I promise it will be up.

I've been slaving over the Sunshine Bright blanket because I really need to get it done. Plus, I want to start another blanket (as a gift) and I want it done on the same size needles. If only I could knit both at the same bloody time! I don't think my needles, or myself, can work with 4oo and some odd stitches at the same time. I'll get Sunshine done quickly I believe. It's pretty easy to work up, and easy is always a good thing.

My Crisscross scarf is coming along well. I know I'll have more than enough yarn to work up a matching hat. It'll just go along with that matching hat/scarf fetish I have!

I've been adding to my queue on Ravlery like I don't have enough projects to make already. One day I figure I'll get around to making them.

Knitting groups three nights this week. Yay for all that knitting time!!!! Now, if I just wouldn't talk as much I might get more knitting done...

Sunshine Bright Blanket

So, I'm working on this blanket for someone that I work with. I've designed it all myself. She loves when the sun is out and when it is shining bright. I picked out some pale yellow, but still bright yarn, worked out a pattern, and it's coming out better than I could have ever imagined! It's received so many complements and I know it will be greatly loved and appreciated. She has no idea I'm working on it, so it will be a huge surprise here in a month or two. I took a picture of it last night that I'll post during the day today so everyone can see what it's looking like.

I'm thinking of writing up the pattern and selling it. Suggests on that (after you see what it looks like of course!)

Crossover Scarf Picture!

Okay, so I haven't posted a picture in forever. Here's my Crossover Scarf by Candi Jensen as seen on DIY's Knitty Gritty. I'm using Patons Lacette in Lilac.

Yarn and Beads and Needles, Oh My!

If anyone reading this is looking for some inexpensive yarn, go and check out your local Big Lots. They've got some yarn from Lion Brand, Patons, and Bernat for $1-$1.50. I picked up some Lion Brand Moonlight Mohair for $1.50 a skien among some other yarns. Most of which I really didn't need, but who can pass up yarn that inexpensive? Now I just have to decide what to do with some of it. Not all of it is for myself though. I did get some yarn for some quicky scarves that either my mother can have or she can put in our gift closet.

I'm starting to get into beading. I don't know if I can sit and do it for a few hours at a time, as I can with knitting. We'll see what happens with that.

Alright, off to do some knitting I think. I'm bored with the beading for tonight. I lack the concentration for it!

Long Time, No Blogging

I really didn't abandon my blog. Life just decided to creep up on me, and then I forgot about my blog slightly. But now I'm back, again.

I've been knitting and buying yarn like crazy. I've been doing more of the later though.

I'm designing a blanket for someone and it's coming along wonderfully! I'll have to post pictures of it, along with some other things, soon.

Okay, so much for an updated post. More later.
